ms9 files export as jpg or bmp

Hello  everybody,

My problem and my question is:

is it possible to export a circuit from Multisim9 as Bmp or jpg?

Because I can´t print a Circuit at a DIN A3 scape.

Without making a screenprint

Quick reply much appriciated.

Hi there,

There is a screen capture tool in Multisim that will allow you to capture an area of the screen and save it to the system clipboard.  You can then paste the image into a graphics application of your choice (eg. Paint) and save it as a bitmap or jpeg.

1. Select Tools > Capture Screen Area; this will allow you to select the portion of the circuit you would like to save as a .bmp.  Move/resize the box as desired.

2. Click Copy

3. Open Paint (or another program of you liking)

4. Paste the image

5. Save the image

Hope this helps.

Hi MarcoH,

You can also try Ctrl+A to select all and then Ctrl+C to copy this. Afterwards paste it with Ctrl+V where ever you want.

hello there again

I had tested the suggestion with "print screen capture area" , but the quality is not so good. When you want to produce a good quality with this tool, you must zoom into the

circuit and copy a lot of little areas. After this, paste all parts to a picture - A lot work for a simple picture export.

My solution is: I have installed a pdf printer. At  a print in Multisim choose not the printer but the pdf printer. It will created a pdf file from the circuit. Before the print you created in the pdf printer tool a profile for a DIN A3 site. The pdf printer create a pdf file with one DIN A3 site. Now I can go to print extern.

good buy

I've been having the same problem with Multisim 11 (one would think that this simple "circuit export" issue would have been fixed by now) and the screen capture tool that comes with Multisim is quite frankly worthless as the PrintScreen button on my keyboard does the same job. I can just paste it in MS Paint and cut the screenshot to what i need. However, i am now working with a lot of components, and for my assignment i have built a vertical column of 7 multiplexers with gates, displays, etc. The circuit works but now i have to print it but there is no easy way to do that. I usually disable the border and grid before going full screen within Multisim and then i do a screenshot with a key press. But now, even with the full screen, i can't fit all of the components, not without zooming out to unreadable sizes.

PLEASE CONSIDER ADDING THE FILE EXPORT TO PNG/JPG OPTION!!
