I am trying to install the student version of multisim from the NI site. Whenever I try running the installer, it complains that it can't find the ELVISmx software. I downloaded ELVISmx, and it told me that it doesn't run on 64bit XP.

 

Is there anyway I can jsut install Multisim? I have been wanting to check it out for a while now, but I can't seem to get it to install.

Hi Benjamin,

 

During the intaller setup, there is a list of features to install. You will see ELVISmx listed there. Left click this item, and select that you do not want to install that item.
