In UB when I edit a part it allows me to define the pads for a through hole pin on 4 layers. If my board is more than 4 layers how do I deal with the extra layers?
I have also seen a problem with a 6 layer board where the pads on some additional layers come is as square, even though the pad stack in the part has all (4) available layers defined as round.
How do I make sense of this?
Thanks.

When placing a pin you set a "default" inner layer shape. From that point forward no matter what changes are made to the shape of each individual inner layer, the default shape will be what you set at pin placement.
This means if you place a pin with a square inner layer, then manually change the two visible inner layers, all the remaining inner layers will remain square however they are not accessible from the standard part editor.
There are 2 ways to deal with this;
1) Manually edit the inner layers through the In-place part editor. (this is currently the only way to access the additional inner layers of a land pattern)
or
2) Replace with a new pin which has the correct default inner layer shape. (this is probably the easier solution if you are working with a large number of layers)
