"Ones and Zeros" power sources....

I am trying to simulate a nand gate at a transistor level (4 pmoses and Nmoses)...
I know I used to use Cadence PS PICE...and there was a input or voltage type that will
allow you to set a value of 1 or 0.....I want to do this in Multisim since I want show how the inputs
and outputs are in terms of 1 and 0s....how do I do this? Is it renaming a source, or a component what is it?
Thanks I really need help on this.!

The only instrument that I know that generates 1's and 0's is the WORD GENERATOR, but you wouldn't be able to visually see this on the schematic but in the instruments window as a trace on a graph. To view the output you would have to place the LOGIC ANALYZER and again this would not be visually represented on the schematic, but in the instruments window as a trace on a graph just like the previous instrument.

You could try and rename your input sources if you need a visual representation of that just make sure your input sources are the battery  component as renaming it is easier than the digital power sources (at least it was for me)  This will  visually let you know what your inputs represent but would have no effect on the output. You would manually have to place these as far I can tell by putting text on the schematic..

You could just add text to the schemtic on your inputs and outputs  and do it that way but if you switch logic states the text would not change to reflect the new logic state and would remain constant.. You can't rename the net lines to do this because "Net 0" is reserved for ground only.

So basically I don't see a way of doing this to where the text would reflect what the logic state is at any given moment. If you just need it to be static then the best option would be the text option.

I hope I have understood what you are look for and maybe some of this may help
