Imagine if you could create a control for every terminal on a subVI simply by selecting it and saying, "create all controls". Imagine building an array of control references by selecting a group of control terminals and telling the system to "build array of references". With LabVIEW Speak, now you can. I remember seeing a demo of this during NI Week 2009. It was something I was meaning to try, though it may take some getting used to, both because it's a different interface and also because we have open cubes where I work. But as a purely academic demonstration of LabVIEW capabilities, I think this could be interesting. I'm always for scripting and automation in a programming UI sense and adding dimensions and new angles to approach how we think of code.
