about the sin(x) function?

i found that if i feed the sin(x) function with a large value, e.g. x=2.54e+21, then the out y=2.54e+21,
obviously, it is wrong, why?

This is definitely a bug.  I'v created a CAR for this.  Thanks for reporting it.
