Greetings Fellow Test Engineers,
My tale is pretty ugly so I will try to simplify as much as possible.
I have an old test station that is running on Windows 2000, it has performed very well for us and has made us a lot of money. However I recently had to add some features that required me to load NEW drivers for NiDAQmx and NI-CAN 2.6.1 and allong with those installations came Measurement & Automation explorer 4.5.something
Now M&A will not run at all. Which in itself is not terribly bad, except I cannot find out what my NiDAQ device number is.
So my question(s) are-
Is there a way to downgrade M&A so it will run on my Win2000 machine and still see the NiDAQmx devices?
Or is there a way to find out the names of my devices without M&A?
Your help as always is appreciated,
-don
DAQmx 9.0.2 is still supporting Windows 2000
