Has anyone installed matlab and just run a basic simulink model?

Kind of new to how any of this works because I normally just interface with the pxi I have through veristand which is a stellar software but unfortunately I’m losing access to my license. If I have the matlab install files can I just… install it? If I run a simulink model will it naturally run in RT or do you need to configure it to work that way? I am tempted to just try it but curious if there’s someone else who has already tried it.

Because I want to install matlab on the hardware I mentioned which runs the NI Linux real time operating system.

The Linux System Requirements listed on the Matlab website do not mention NI Linux RT as a supported platform.

The details mentioned on the NI Linux RT community don't sound promising, either: Kernel 4.9 (matlab requires 4.18) and glibc 2.24 (matlab requires 2.28).

Can I update the kernel and glibc via opkg?

It goes look like I might have to reach for older matlab versions but 23b seems like it will work with the glibc and kernel versions of nirlt
