Can't install Labview - The feed URL you are trying to reach is not available

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi all,

I cam trying to install Labview 2022 Q3. I am on a Windows 11 64-bit laptop. Whenever I try to install it I quickly get this:

We encountered a problem

The feed URL you are trying to reach is not available. Check to make sure the URL is correct, and that the server is running and configured to accept remote requests (https://packages.jki.net/dragon/feeds/shared/ni-labview-project-dependency-support_24.1.0.49312-0+f1...).

Visit ni.com/info and enter the Info Code NIPMCommError for more information.

What I have tried:

  • On two different networks (home and office)
  • Uninstalling everything in NI Package Manager (NIPM), then uninstall NIPM. Then reinstall NIPM and only try to install L2022 Q3 and nothing else
  • Tried to install it while Labview 2025 Q1 was installed (no issue installing this version btw).
  • Every suggestion here: Problem Updating Feeds When Installing Through NI Package Manager - NI
    • Which includes disabling Firewall and checking certain ports

 Any ideas?

It looks like your issue is related to JKI Dragon, and not LabVIEW. I would just uncheck Dragon from part of the install, and it will probably work fine.

Thank you for that, but I have already tried to uncheck everything except Labview 2022 Q3.

This issue was solved when NI sent me an offline installer ISO.
