Custom Feed Pointing to Releases from Private GitHub Repo

I would like to add a feed pointing to GitHub Releases. According to this documentation (Package Manager 2023 Q3: new feature - Incorporate support for URL redirection, commonly referred to as URL forwarding, in Package URLs), it should be possible. However, I would like to ask if it is possible to configure a feed for releases from a private GitHub repository. Can I configure an SSH key somehow?
