I'm trying to install the NI-VISA package on a Windows 10 virtual machine, and in the initial steps of the setup process, it comes up with a message that says the package signature validation failed, then it lists the expected MD5 checksum and the one it actually found. Naturally, it believes the package has been tampered with.
SO, I thought maybe this version 20 is so new, there might have been a problem creating the package and there hasn't been enough time gone by yet that they aren't aware of it. So I downloaded version 19.5 and got the same problem.
Am I missing something here?? Downloading and installing software/drivers, etc. is a fairly straightforward task and I've been doing it since before the Internet was even here using modems and BBSs ... so I've been at this thing a while and this one is a head-scratcher for sure. LOL
I've included a screenshot of the error if that helps anyone ... but hopefully someone will read this who had this problem and knows the solution and would be kind enough to post the answer.
