When we will see NIPB support for TS 2021?

I don't understand how NI can recommend NIPB in TS 2021 help while NIPB is not supporting TS 2021?! It makes no sense!

NIPB support should be updated with each new TS release. Otherwise, the whole solution NI can stick into the tight black hole and never pull it out.

When we will see NIPB support for TS 2021?

Hi bienieck, thanks for raising your concern about this gap in support from NIPB for TestStand 2021. We are aware of this gap and we are discussing options to adjust to address this gap. I cannot share any specifics at this time on if and when we might release a new version of NIPB that supports TestStand 2021.

Please talk with your colleague Eric Reffett. He can tell you a thing or two about not communicating at least a sort of roadmap for things and surprising users with fundamental changes such as licenses or discontinuation of products. Your message to me reads like yet another "We are planning to pretty much discontinue this product but are not prepared to say so yet!"

A bit more than "we can not make comments IF and WHEN we will add that support" is very much needed here, if you do not want to drive even more users away from NI software platforms!

All, I apologize that my "if" caused confusion/concern, I should have left it out, I was just being too cautious. We know there is interest in NI Package Builder's continued support of TestStand going forward, and we are in the middle of evaluating when we can close this gap. We are discussing releasing NI Package Builder again later this year, but until our planning is done, I cannot be more specific on a timeframe. I hope that helps give a little more clarity to my previous reply.

If you are aware then why you mislead users in the TS help?

There should be explicit information in TS2021 that you can't replace TS deployment utility with nipb.
