-18002 when running script that calls LabView VIs

I get the following message (attached printscreen) when one of the parameters in the LabView VI are not set as default.
The VI was developed in LabView 8.2 and script in Teststand 3.5. However we are running the script in LabView 8.5 and TestStand 4.0 environment. I saved all the VIs individually and reloaded the VIs in the script on the newer LabView/TestStand version but the problem persists. Each VI step in the script has 15-20 parameters in the connector pane and they show up under Specify Module. he script calls the same VI several times with different values for the parameters. When one of those parameters is not set as default, we get the error message.
We dont have problem running the script and VI in earlier version - LV8.2 and TS3.5.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!
Mim

Try renaming the parameter.  There may be a trailing or leading space in the connector pane.  This sounds like issue #5 on this KB:

Thanks for the prompt reply. Renaming did work.
However why do I not see any problem running the script and VI in LV8.2 and TS3.5?
Is this problem unique to LV8.5 and TS4.0???
Thanks once again.

It is an issue with LabVIEW 8.5.  You would likely see the same problem with TestStand 3.5 and LabVIEW 8.5.  This problem will be addressed in a future version.
