Adding a new VME device with LXI controller instead of MXI controller in NI MAX and talking to the VME through NI-VISA

We are using NI Visa to talk to a VME card in a VXI chassis.  We have this working on a stand using a MXI Controller between the VXI chassis/PC 

We have another stand though that is using a LXI Controller instead of a MXI Controller.   Is it possible to use NI Visa across LXI to talk to a VME devices? If so, what do we need to do to configure it - we don’t see a way to manually add a VME device?
