When you use DAQ mx AI Temp RTD and AI Resistance, does it automatically switch to preforming differential measurements similar to when you use DAQ mx AI Voltage? Unlike DAQ mx AI Voltage, there is no option to choose between differential, NRSE, RSE.
I have an external current or voltage excitation device, and multiple NI-9205. I want to preform load cell, RTD, and resistance measurements. I'm worried I might get weird floating or ground loops not knowing how the NI-9205 is preforming the voltage measurement. Curious how I should be hooking up COM, AISENSE.
I know there are other c-daq cards that are designed specifically for these types of measurements, but I already have the NI-9205 and like how many channels they have per module.

You can still configure the terminal type using DAQmx Channel Property Node.
