Estimating Sequence Run-Time?

Hello,

I'm new to Teststand so this may be a dumb question... The situation is this. I'm using teststand to create sequences for controlling a thermal chamber. The sequence uses a series of Dwell Actions with Locals.Dwell Time variables. I want to have a way to know approximately how long the entire sequence is going to take to execute at the beginning of the test. This is to help with scheduling so that if I have a test that is going to run for 1 week or 2 weeks, I'll know when the test is going to end when I start it without having to manually add up all of the dwell times.

I have no idea how I can do this but would love some suggestions to point me in the right direct. Could I insert a Statement at the beginning of the sequence that would somehow go through and add up all of the dwell times in the entire sequence? That would be what I'm attempting.

Thanks for your help!

Hi kclay88,

No such thing as a dumb question! Can you give me a better idea of when this Dwell Time is populated and how? For example, are you reading these wait times from some kind of file, or are these variables assigned a different way? A few screenshots of your sequence might also help a lot here. That information will help to determine what kind of options are available.
