Hello,
I would like to ask how TestStand knows when step type shall be hidden in insertion palette? In example, by default TS configures insertion palette to have LabVIEW NXG Utility group with one step type. This type is defined in NI_Types. I don't have NXG installed so I'm not really surprised that it's not visible in my insertion palette, but I was just wondering where in the configuration/step definition is some kind of check which makes this step type hidden in my palette? "Hidden" setting is unchecked (see screen below), so normally I would expect this type to be visible (even if I don't have NXG).
In case of e.g. NI_SubstepsTypes I assume that "Hidden" flag was used in type definition, and therefore I don't see them even in insertion palette configuration window. But e.g. NXG and IO Config step types are visible in configuration but not in the actual palette. How it was achieved?
