How can I add Test Result Units to my ATML test report?

My TestStand sequence generates a report that hasTestResult, Test Result Type, and Test Result Value.  I would like to add Test Result Units to the report.  How can I do this?  Thanks.

Do you use the default reporting or do you have a customized reporting?

What are the parameters you want to include in the report?

Maybe, you want to read this article for information about TestStand reporting.

hope this helps,

Hi,

To add Units into the report, all you have to do is actually enter some units into the Units field in the Step Settings | Limits.

If it is left empty then the Units is not included in the Report.

You can enter Units either by typing them in or by use of the Units Prefix and Units control which is on the right side of the Units control in the Limits Setting window.

Looking at the ATML style sheet, it handles the Units property already so you shouldn't have to do anything extra.

Hi,

one sidenote on this question:

The unit is part of the atml-report just as Ray already stated. Nevertheless, there is currently a bug which prevents the unit to be displayed in the report if you are looking into the atml-report in Internet Explorer. So if your original question referred to this, the given answers were not much help till now.

The bug is known and, if it is important for you, you can get a fix by contacting the NI support.

hope this helps,
