How do I run expect scripts using teststand and or Labview

I have several expect scripts and would like to integrate them with teststand and/or labview. Has anyone out there done this? If so I would like any help you can give me on this.
Thanks

Hello Reemas,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

Could you expand on what you mean by "expect scripts"? I am not sure if you mean conditional programming, event programming, or perhaps something different.

I would be happy to help as best I can with additional information.

Thanks,

Hi Liz,
"Expect" is a program to control interactive applications. It is integrated with "TCL" the scripting language.
Visit the site
http://tcl.tk and search for "expect" or
go to expect home page
http://expect.nist.gov/
To get more information.

Thanks

Hello,

I am sorry for the delay in responding.

From what I can tell, "Expect" is a stand-alone language of sorts that allows you to automate other applications and their execution. National Instruments' TestStand software provides similar application automation of other NI applications (such as LabVIEW). Unless you can build Expect scripts into DLLs or executables or something like that, you will not be able to implement them in LabVIEW or TestStand, as they are their own automation software.

Please let me know if you would like further clarification or information about TestStand or LabVIEW, or calling external code in either environment, and I would be happy to help.
