We need to peer review our code, include TestStand. With code, we usually send out hard copy of what's going to be reviewed first. A few days later we all sit in a room and discuss what minor and major error's were found. Here's the hurdles we have to over come with TestStand.
1) We need a hard copy for review to red line. Screen shots are a major hassle because you have to show the sequence and all the panels that were changed. There can be a lot of panels to change per sequence step and it would be preferable if didn't kill a forest doing this.
2) If we were to show it on the screen and discuss it (We've tried this and it's hard to do.), we have no conference rooms with TestStand installed (we can't afford extra copies just for peer reviews) and we don't use laptops (don't ask me why, ask IT) Then there's the problem of documenting the reviewed changes, you would have text describing the picture on the screen. Highly inaccurate. We've had problems doing this, gathered around a screen in a cube.
We also have no equivalent SLOC between any language and all the panels we have to set up for TestStand.
So I need suggestions, tools, anything to help the peer review process for TestStand Sequences. Or if someone knows of an alternative way to peer review TestStand.
Thanks
