Limiting decimal places in results

This issue is somewhat fixed in TestStand 4.2.1. Would you be able to upgrade to TestStand 4.2.1? If so, what you would have to do to get this working is first select XML as your report format. Then configure the Numeric Format for what you want. And finally switch to ATML report format.

Even though the Numeric Format field is disabled when ATML is selected for the report format, it is still honored.

Please let me know if upgrading to 4.2.1 is an option for you. Hope this helps.

At this point, it's not, but I'll definitely keep that in mind for the future.

Just out of curiosity, do you have the technical details of the change from 4.2.0 to 4.2.1 which allows this setting to have an effect?

The ATML Test Results Generator is shared amongst TestStand and the TestStand ATML Toolkit. For TestStand 4.2.1, we included an updated version of the ATML Test Results Generator that honors the Numeric Format setting but did not update the functionality of the Configure Report Options dialog box to enable the setting when configured for the ATML report format.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will likely fix it in a future version of TestStand.
