Parameters

Solved!

New User of TestStand 4... This question is related to the Parameters displayed in the "Specify Module Pane"..

the Parameters values are not always displayed in the pane even though they are present in the sequence??..TestStand frequently displays the error message informing that "An Error has occurred. Please save your work and restart  the sequence editor". Once this is done the parameters can be viewed again until the next error. any ideas whats causing this error?

Hi Fyfie,

Are you still observing this error? Is there an error code which is being displayed upon the error?

Does the error occur at a specific step within your sequence file?

Regards,

Steve

I've seen this problem before with TestStand v4.0. It appears to be fixed in TestStand v4.1 (haven't seen it occur since updating). We noticed that the problem would appear mostly if you left the Specify Module pane floating separately from the main window; selecting different steps in the main window would sometimes generate the error. Our workaround was to leave the Specify Module pane docked with the Main Sequence Editor.

Hope this helps.
