RPC server unavailable - error while "Step into" a .Net DLL

Hi,

I am trying to access a .Net DLL from TestStand. For debugging purpose, I am trying to step into the .Net method but I am getting the following error.

The step into operation failed for the following reason.

"The RPC server is unavailable"

"The teststand will execute the step as if you did a step over"

Actually it worked twice, from third time onwards this error started coming. Kindly help me resolve this as i need to step into the .Net component from Teststand.

In addition to the above error, I also sometimes get the following error:

The step into operation failed for the following reason:

"Call was rejected by the callee"

Teststand will execute as if you did a step over operation.

Hi Priya,

Are you still experiencing this error?  If so, can you provide a little more detail about the .dll you are trying to step into?  Also, can you tell me what version of TS you are using?  You had mentioned that it had worked previously, has anything changed since then?

Would it be possible for you to post the .dll and any additional information needed to call it to the forum so that I can take a look?
