Remote Sequence can not find file

I am trying to use a sequence on a remote computer. When I do I get the error message -17208 File or directory not found. I've configured the remote computer as directed and the REngine process is running. I can ping the remote host. The edit sequence dialog points to the right place and the sequence drop down box has the correct sequence in it. It is set for Run Sequence on a Remote Computer. Any ideas?

ChasGI,

I don't have an exact solution, but I can give you some resources that might get us a little closer. First, there is a Knowledge Base (KB 2KE7MOY6: Errors when Trying to Run a Sequence on a Remote Windows XP Machine that might be helpful if you are using XP.

If not, make sure that the path to your code module is the exact path on the target machine. Make sure that the target machine is set to allow TestStand to execute of Remote sequences (Configure&#0187Station Options, Remote Execution Tab). Also, check your DCOM settings as described in the TestStand User Manual. If you are sure everything is correct, reply to this post and make sure to inclu
de what versions of TestStand and Windows you are using.

Thanks and good luck!

Thank you. It was the matching paths on the two machines in one case. It was permissions on the second one we tried. Everything's working now.
Thanks again,
Chas
