Requirements Gateway and C code

Good morning all,

I'm using Requirements Gateway for general embedded firmware projects, it really performs a great job on documentation traceability and coverage.
I want now to go deep into C source files. As far as I understood till now, it's quite easy to reach functions and comments (with 'Code C' analysis type).

Is there any way to reach global variables too?

Is that due to CScan converter behaviour? Could it be customized? Could it be replaced by aything else that would do the job?

Thanks for any suggestion

(PS I don't want to add comments nor tags inside source files.. For my purpose it would be enough to have global variables and functions name as refernces to cover a detailed design document)

To be clearly as I understand you want to access file global variable in TestStand, don't you?

Also, I found another forum post with solution which can be helpful in this case.
