I can't find a group for the Requirements Gateway tool, but I did find a post saying members in this group may be able to help, so here goes....
I am trying to use requirements gateway (2018 version on evaluation licence only at the moment) to help with traceability for my requirements. I have some information (e.g. in suppliers data sheets) that I want to add a trace to (e.g. as a source for a requirement).
I can not get requirements gateway to recognise sticky notes in the pdf. As far as I can tell I should be able to add sticky notes to the pdf and then as long as I select the "with annotations" option in the pdf type then requirements gateway should recognise the stick notes and be able to use them to identify traces.
I have tried looking at the intermediate files and can see that there is no entries in that which correspond to any annotations that I add to a pdf, so I think the problem is with the "PdfCv Txt" conversion tool which creates the intermediate file, but I am not sure.
I am sure I have had this working before (in a previous life) so I am wondering if there is a NIRG/PDF compatibility issue with the versions I am using.
Any help would be appreciated.
