Currently I have a test that requires the cover to be installed on the UUT part way through. There are a lot of screws so this step takes several minutes. To increase test set utilization we would like to split the test in two so that the modules can have their cover installed elsewhere and thus allow the test set to start another board. However I am not sure how to marry up the data from the two partial tests as the current file name scheme is "modelNumber_[serialNumber]_yyyymmdd_hhmmss.html".
What approach would you use?
Thanks,

Do you run a Batch Process?

Thanks for inquiring.
It is not a batch process, it uses sequential model. Currently there is one test subsequence running on one test station. The top level, main sequence allows one to choose the board type, inertialNav, laserAltimeter, squibFire, receiver, etc. The receiver subSequence has about 24 steps and I need to split it between steps 5 & 6.

Hi,
Just to get the clear picture;
This receiver test sequence when it complete test 5 you what it to stop to allow the unit to be taken away freeing up the test system to test another unit.
Then when you have done with the fitment, run the reciever test sequence again but continue on from Step 6 and at the end have the combined results of both runs.

No, just need to stop after step 5, come back later and pick up at step 6.
The idea is to run steps 1-5 on many boards, then after their covers are installed run the remaining steps.
