TestStand deployment needs device drivers

I am offsite and I'm trying to create a TestStand installer.  I have installed on this loaner laptop, LV8, CVI8, TS3.5.  When I run the deployment (installer) I get the message
"Please insert the CD containing the following component:National Instruments Device Drivers - May 2006.The last directory this component was found was:E:\".

Earlier, I was receiving a similar message because it was looking for my TestStand Installer CD.  Since I don't have any of these disks with me, I downloaded TestStand 3.5 from the NI website and and placed the zip (and its extracted files) into some harmless directory.  Then, when asked again by the deployment tool about TestStand Installer, I pointed it to that directory - that problem went away.  Now it's complaining about the drivers.  I thought I could find these drivers in a bundle somewhere, but all I'm able to find is individual items (IVI 2.5, VISA 4.0).  Is there any way to satisfy the deployment tool without having to wait till I get home to access my disks?

I saw that this set of drivers for the NI Developer's Suite has a part number of 371624D-01, 324192D-01 - If this helps anyone

Hi mrbean,

I actually believe you are attending one of our TestStand classes right now. I have emailed the instructer to see if we could get you a copy of the device driver CD for May 2006.

In regards to why you are receiving this message, it appears you are trying to include additional NI installers in your deployment package. In this case, there are certain components that are located on the driver CDs that need to be copied over to the TestStand deployment package.  If the component is not present on the computer, then it will need to be copied from the CD.

Hope this helps!

I am getting this message and I have the CD, but can not get it to go pass this message. I have uninstalled TestStand 3.5 and re-installed it with the Device Drivers and still get this message.

Using August 2006 update package.

Hi OmarGator,

Have you tried copying the Device Drivers from the CD to your hard drive?  Then, when you get the driver prompt during your deployment, direct it to the local driver folder on your hard drive.
