TestStand threads treatment of a CVI DLL's local variable

I would like to you know how the threads of TestStand behave on memory threatment, in what concerns to local variables. For example: if a local variables is declare as static, that variable is thread-safe, isn't it?

I am pretty sure they do but I could not confirm this in any NI official documentation.
