Teststand; Sequence Pass shows Report, Sequence Fails, no report...why...?

Hello All,

I am new to TestStand, but when my sequence test passes, I see the report that Teststand generated.
When my sequence fails, the Teststand screen turns grey and it does not print a report or say what test failed or why.

Anybody know what I need to do to solve this problem?

Hi,

For the failed condition, are you running using the process model, ie "Single Pass" or "Test UUT's" or Run Using Single Pass (this is in interactive mode). Or are you running from the option Run "Sequence Name".

The syptoms you give sound like you have run the sequence with out the process model e.g Run "Sequence Name".

Can you supply and example and state what version you are using.

Hi Ray,

Well you were right. When I ran teststand in single pass, there was a failure report generated.
I am using TestStand 2.0.
My code will need to work in Test UUT's Mode.

I have attached a sample code of one of my functions.
It simply sets up a spectrum analyzer and gets the output power of the P.A.
All my Vi's use the Test Stand Cluster and Error Out.

Can you please tell me what I need to do in order to get a failure report when in Test UUT's mode?

Well, I found the problem.
It was simply a check box option in the report tab.
