Using API calls from Web page

I have a Web User Interface that we are trying to use as the front end for TestStand 3.5.

When I instantiate Engine (using C#), it works fine if I am running under Visual Studio (2005).

When I publish the web page, then try to access it, the new Engine() call hangs.sad smiley

I am using Visual Studio 2005, and ASP 2.0 for my web server.

Hi CodeItUp,

What you are attempting to do hasn't been done before and therefore has not been tested yet. Thus is discouraged as much as possible.

Best Regards,

Jonathan

Hi CodeItUp,

It might be possible to have a web page call into a TestStand application. Thus this would be the better way to go.

Hi CodeItUp,

what a cool idea. Is your Web page now running under the IIS or any other ASP.Net server?

This looks an interesting topic.

Has anything happened??? was it possible to control teststand via a web page?

Thanks
