What files are distributed with the Run-Time TestStand Engine Installation?

Is there a list of files that this distribution Automatically installs as part of the Engine setup files? Specifically, I'd like to know if the Engine setup installs the StationGlobals.ini file or do I have to select this as part of the custom files installation.

Hi,

Chatper 17 of the User Manual details what is setup as default. StationGlobals.ini is not one of the cfg files setup as default so you would have to select the Custom.

The easies is to just to run the wizard and follow the various steps as detailed in Chatper 17.

Hello Capt. Jack,

The files that are installed with the TestStand Engine are located in the \Setup\Engine directory. These include the CVI Run-Time Engine, LV Run-Time Engine and various others.

The default files that are installed are everything in your \User\Components directory as well as \Cfg\ToolMenu.ini. If you wish to have other files installed, such as the StationGlobals.ini file, please follow the instructions outline in Chapter 17 of the TestStand 2.0 User Manual titled "Ditributing TestStand".
