When I hit "create vi" button in a labivew action step I'm prompted for path, new vi doesn't pop up.

I have always used TS 3.1 and Labview 7.1.  When I hit the create vi button in an action step, a new vi always popped up in 7.1  Now I have installed TS3.5 and LV8.2 and now I'm just prompted for a path.  A new vi does not pop up.  When I go to configure adapter and select Labview, the correct version of Labview is shown (8.2) if I use 3.5 (and 7.1 if I switch and use 7.1).  Now also when I go back to 3.1 and 7.1 the button no longer works either.

Hi,

If you enter your VI name in the Path and Execution then press Create VI.. It will create the VI in the location of the SequenceFile. See Attached JPG

If you leave the Path and Execution empty when you press Create VI, you will be prompted for a path and filename for the VI.
