Why don't the units show up in the txt report

The units are not showing up in my text report. The property flag for the step unit is set to include in the report but I don't see them.

You have to set the unit manually.   On the Numeric test  go to properties, then Edit Limit.   Either you can type in a unit   in the Unit box, or select one using the arrows.

No, I have units entered into the step. I'm talking about the generated text report. I see the units when I use the xml or html report but not when I set the report options to ascii.

Hi kph,

Which version of TestStand are you using? Are you using the Numeric Limit Test or another (custom) step type? Which report options do you have configured? I tried creating a simple sequence file with one Numeric Limit Test step. The pre-expression sets the Step.Result.Numeric to 15 (kilograms, kgs). I have attached both the sequence file and the report it generated (in ascii) that shows the units on line 22.
