delete parameters in the edit prototype

I have TStand 3.5 and LabVIEW 8.2
After creating LV VI with connectors and set up for the TStand prototype, things work correctly.
and if I made a change in the LV VI (ex: rename a control)
(I am human, I always to improve on something)
now TStand will want me to reload the prototype, I understand this part.
there is a pop up msg ask me want to keep current parameters......
answer yes,
now, I have a new "rename control"  to pass locals.variable..I uncheck the default
box and connect the control with something I would like to.

but the old control is turned into red characters, and I can't delete it.
this is the problem I cannot delete the obsolete control

If I answer No, at the pop up msg "keep current parameters..."
I have to begin to re-assign all connectors..

is there away to make this tedious work faster? Am I missing something?

Hi,

I thought when you Press Ok to close the Edit LabVIEW VI Call panel, any obsolete parameters are lost. When you open the dialog panel again all the red entries are removed.

Thank you Ray

I'lll try that next time.
click OK to close, instead of clean up the red lines before clicking OK

Hi,

Haven't got the latest version to hand at the moment, but if there is the red tick button to check syntax, that should remove it as well.
But just going ok to close the dialog should remove it.
