file.seq could no be loaded

Hello guys.

i'm working with ts 2014 but sometimes my file .seq fail and after can't to open de .seq file. when i try to open, this message appear:

incorrect file format

the sequence file file.seq could no be loaded

error code: -17100

source: 'TSAPI'

Could someone tell me how to fix it? 🙂

It seems that the file is corrupted. The easiest (and potentially only) solution is to use a backup file you created by e.g. working with source code control.

Some questions for clarification:

1. You are sure that the file is indeed a TestStand Sequence File? (Or is it just a random file which happens to have the file extension .seq)

2. Is the file binary, XML or INI file format?

3. Do you have an idea why the file got corrupted (e.g. TS crash during saving, TS process was killed during execution, ...)?

Can you verify that this file that you want to open is in did a TestStand File, this error that you got is usually when the file that you are trying to open is not a TestStand FIle.
