Hi,
The obvious one would be to get on an NI proved training course for TestStand.
There is a tutorial as part of the teststand installation, have a look in the documentation folder and the tutorial folder.
There are some "Using TestStand with ..." documents as well.
There are examples in the TestStand examples folder ... check out the Computer Motherboard Test Sequence example in \Examples\Demos\ and pick your favourite language.
Hope this gets your started

The Guide to TestStand Documentation topic in the NI TestStand Help outlines useful documents for new users:
If you are a new user, National Instruments recommends completing the following tasks to get started with TestStand:
Select Start>>All Programs»National Instruments>>TestStand x.x>>Documentation>>NI TestStand Help or select Help>>NI TestStand Help in the TestStand Sequence Editor to access the NI TestStand Help.
PDFs of the TestStand manuals, overview card, and reference posters are located in the <TestStand>\Doc\Manuals directory.

When I learned TestStand 1.0 on my own it took me a LONG time and I made several significant architectural mistakes that cost hundreds of labor hours. I know that others went down the same path too. Imho TestStand is such a "powerful" product that you must take the one week training. I think you can buy the training manuals and do it on your own, but of course you would have to honestly put in the effort to cover the material.
Having said that there is clearly more material around about "how to use" TestStand, and TestStand itself is obvously much better than 1.0, but I still strongly recommend the training.

Hello ashlee,
If you are indeed interested in a TestStand customer education course, all I need is your permission to contact the web administrators in order to get information that would allow us to send you a quote and further information about these classes.

Matt,
I've already been in contact with Hank B. about an onsite class and seeing if there is enough interest from a couple of different departments. I was just a bit surprised by how few options there were for formal TestStand training.
