horizontal html report

Is there a straight forward way to make the html report format similar to the horizontal format offered for the XML report. As it is, the HTML report takes too many pages and the horizontal format is a good compact alternative. Unfortunately, I have to use the html report due to modifications and programmed PDF conversions, which don't work with XML.

The short answer is No.

You will have to modify the report generation sequence file.
