how to convert step types of Teststand3.0 to be compatitable with Teststand3.1

I built my  step types in Type palettes windows of Teststand3.0 and want to be used in Teststand3.1 , but fails

Error message:

The file "c:\........." was saved in Teststand3.1.0.9095 and is incompatible with Teststand 3.0.0.12373. Error code: -17098, File created by newer version of Teststand

Hi,

This is a bit confusing, because if you started out in TS3.0 then your file will have a ProductVersion = 3.0.0.12373 not 3.1.0.9095.

If you open the file in Notepad (text editor) you can change the ProductVersion back to 3.0.0.12373 and save the file.

Now open your TestStand 3.0 and it should work.

Make sure you take a backup of any files you modify before you start.
