open text file by using teststand

Hi,

As attachment, i can run it at my laptop and the value get by running the seq is correct as per in the text file.when i run it at desktop, the value i get is "ÿþ". if in the text file contains "HI" then the value will be "ÿþH". if in the text file contains "ON" then the value that will get will be "ÿþO". why is this problem happenning? at my laptop, everything is good but not at desktop

Did you try to modify your Windows settings in order to set the Regional and Language Options to the appropriate settings?

Could you post the missing FileSteps.dll  ?

i have solved it. cannot copy the text file from laptop to desktop. need to create the text file at the desktop and save as ANSI. anyway thx a lot for the reply!
