path to requirement document in NIRG

Hi, i can not find the information how to use relative path to my requirement docs in NIRG..

The problem occured when I moved the project and some of the document are stored in another mapp example in the file directory V:\sweden\....\req_spec.doc
How to specify if someone else mapped the disk for example J:\sweden\.....\req_spec.doc
And if we are more people who work, the easy way is of course to move all files in requirement gateway folder but that is not so nice....

Any idea ?

Best regards Conny B

Cbro,

From your post, it sounds like you are puting your requirements documents and the requirements gateway project on a network server.  Then each person can map that network path to a different letter (V: or J: as you described below).

In a quick test that I just ran, if the files the project is referencing are in the same folder or sub folders of the project, it should not matter what the top-level folder is.  The test that I ran was to copy an example and all of its files to a new folder on my desktop.  Without changing anything, the project opened just fine, and was referencing the new files.

If you are speaking about having the project in a different folder than the documents it is using, then if you open your project in a text editor, you will see the full path to each file.  In this case, if the file path changes, you will need to do a find and replace operation to update the file paths.
