remote engine updateicon error

Hi,

I just had an error in the Remote Engine which I had heard about sometimes from customers; it said that there was an error in CTrayIcon::UpdateIcon.

I admit to having forcibly exited the Remote Engine previously (using the right mouse button and "Exit"). Does anyone know, if this is related and if using the "Exit" menu command and doing a "taskkill" on the remote engine amounts to the same thing and might cause the same error?

Hi Peter,

is the error still concerning you? Is this a "typical" use case for you?

If so, do you also see the issue when using the "Exit" feature? Has this occured often? Do you have any screenshots displaying the error?

Maybe you could tell us a bit more about the sequence you are trying to run and your application in general.
