runing teststand in administrator mode

I have a problem when i tried to run TestStand in administrator mode. This is what i am trying to do.

I run NI TestStand in Administrator mode, build my sequences to retrieve a file from a shared drive. However it will fail because it could not connect to the shared drive and so there are no files to be found.

However if i run this sequence in a regular mode, it completed successfully. So I am wondering if there is any problems running NI TestStand in administrator mode?

By Administrator mode I assume you mean as a Windows OS Administrator user (usually done on vista or windows 7 at times). Please let me know if you meant something different. TestStand should generally work when run "as Administrator". I suspect that what's happening is that your administrator user is a different user than your standard user and thus might not have the same permissions and ability to connect to the shared drive. You might be able to instead add your standard user to the administrator group on your machine or give your administrator user the required privileges.
