I am very new in Labview and measurement technics, and now i have some problem with configuration of our devices. I would like to measure force and displacement this stuffs:
load cell: KM500k 50N, pls see attached data sheets (load cell.pdf)
linear transducer SPI18 (linear_transducer.pdf)
Available NI devicer for us:
NI cDAQ 9172
NI 9219
USB 6009
LabView 9.01
It was suceed to measure resistance with usb 6009 in linear transducer which i could transform to displacement, but the configuration of load cells was not sucessful.
My queastions are:
how can i measure force with these devices? If i know well ni 9219 modul contains measurement bridge which is necessary in strain measurement (load cell works as a foil strain gage, connection type:full bridge) but doesn't supports external amplifier for load cell (Recommended Excitation 10VDCtyp./15VDCmax). Can i somehow configure this load cell with usb 6009 and ni 9219 modul and an external supplier that will be good?
I will appreciate every idea.
