Hey KEEPtheCHANGE,

A few questions I have that will help us get to an answer:

1) Are you using a switch module (hardware)?

2) What device are you using to generate these DIO signals?

3) You mention a test system, are you wanting to use TestStand to control these relays?

The answers to these questions will make it easier for me to help you, or direct you to the proper place to ask the question. I talked to someone who works more closely with our switching hardware, and he seemed to think that this is possible, but we'd need a little more information to tell you how to set it up. Let us know!

Hi KEEPtheCHANGE,
Are you talking about switch executive inside TestStand to call out to a driver written to talk to a 'standard' DIO interface that ultimately drives your switches (relays)?
If so, NI has a relay driver card which is essentially doing the same thing and that uses NI-Switch as the IVI specific driver for IVI-Switch which is then what switch executive uses. So if you have a driver for your DIO interface or fancy writing on (LabWindows/CVI makes this pretty straight forward) then you will be able to make an IVI switch configuration in MAX pointing to that driver and away you go.
What is the DIO card?
Thanks

Sorry - Typos galore there :
So if you have an IVI-Switch specific driver for your DIO interface or fancy writing one...
