VeriStand project queries.

Hi All,

I'm new to VeriStand but I do have LabVIEW exposure. Now for a project, we're planning to use VeriStand.

But, VeriStand being a configurable software (and not a development environment) there are few things which we are unable to do:

1. How to include built-in tests (written as LabVIEW VIs) in VeriStand. Built-in tests should run during the 'initialization' and will make sure that the test system is a defective free environment.

2. To perform the test there are two sources of data/signal available. Now when the VeriStand software will start, after successful 'initialization' (after passing built-in tests), there should be a prompt/dialog asking operator to select the source of data/signal (either Sensors/Gaugin System 1 or 2) as shown in below diagram.

   

3. Last thing would be: The test will run for 4-5 hours, and through out the test, VeriStand software should log the data, and that too in user defined (probably CSV format).

Please help with your valuable comments.
