What challenge/problem are you trying to solve through your application:
During Transportation of goods which are so expensive or those which are highly
sensitive to vibrations and shocks, Transportation Company needs to assure the clients
that they will transfer their asset in enhanced condition and their means of transfer is
efficient in transportation with less vibration and shocks. So it is necessary to monitor the
vibration of assets during their transportation. Even it is necessary to recognize fault or
breakdown of instrument which is transferred from point A to point B. If the fault is due
to more vibration we should be acknowledged.
How does your application solves the above mentioned challenge/problem:
We present an innovative design for data recorder that will facilitate sense-and-response
logistics, and provide a small and inexpensive package. It is implemented using a
standard low-power lightweight microcontroller core and MEMS sensors to record and
process vibration data, and status reporting is implemented using web base online
monitoring. The end customer has a warranty issues with their products that are coming
from their environment of transportation rather than their operation. If they could prove it,
it would save their money. So the clients need to continuously monitor their goods which
are to be transferred, and want accurate data of their goods environment that too real time.
Description of Project:
We are planning to develop a device by which one can have record as well as live
monitoring of the material. Main parameters like vibration, temperature, speed will be
logged in the device. Using GPRS technology all this parameters will be transmitted to
server for online monitoring also. A configuration software will developed to configure
device which will generate alarm signals for driver also. Designed to be accessible and
easy to use from a cost and operational point of view, our monitoring solutions will meet
the demanding requirements of remotely protecting high-value high-risk assets. Our
devices will continually monitor vibrations. We will be monitoring real-time with high
accuracy, anywhere in the world using LabVIEW User Interface. Our remote monitoring
solutions are designed to enablea customer to protect the integrity and operation of their
assets by delivering continual real-time visibility of their environment. High accuracy data is
collected discreetly andthen delivered via web-based user interface. Customers are able to
identify where and when the issue arose and who is accountable.
