What challenge/problem are you trying to solve through your application:
To make the current voting system better and more secure. By using pattern maching technique.
How does your application solves the above mentioned challenge/problem:
The voter can cast his/her vote only when his thumb and irish matches in the system. if not he/she cannot cast his/her vote.
Description of Project:
In our system there are three sensors are used in the voter’s side.
BARCODE READER: Electronic device that scans a barcode by shining a laser beam on it. Barcode readers are 'non-contact' automatic data capture devices, operate only at short distances, and do not provide 'out of line of sight' reading. It is also called barcode scanner. This barcode reader is used to get access the personal account of voter from the server through the network by reading barcode present in the aadharcard (identification). This is the only authenticate to the voter for the further process to voting.
IRISH SCANNER: This Irish scanner is used to scan the Irish of the voters and then match the colour models of the eye with the colour model which is already stored in the voters account on the data base.
THUMB SCANNER: It is a device that can scan a fingerprint and compare the digitized image/data with fingerprints in a database of authorized voter. Through this scanner the voters thumb is scanned and the corresponding result is store in the labVIEW database.
If both the matching of colour models of Irish and the lines of thumb gives the positive result. Then only the server allows the voter to vote by displaying a new window, which is designed by the election commission of India. Now the voter can vote any one of the candidate as they likes .If there is any second attempt done by the voter, the server will not take that into count. After count is done by the server the voting page of the voter side is get closed. This counting process are gets maintained in the election office in more secure and secret way. At the same time the whole data base and the monitoring activity are done through the LabVIEW.
