SAHARA- GUIDANCE SYSTEM FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED

What challenge/problem are you trying to solve through your application:
we plan to create a system where we can help visually impaired people navigate on their own without anybody else's assistance.
How does your application solves the above mentioned challenge/problem:
we acquire data from an Android smart phone camera using SMARTCAM APP which sends camera feed to LabVIEW using a Bluetooth Connection. in LabVIEW we process the data and generate an audio signal that enables us to navigate the subject.
Description of Project:
We have used LabVIEW to create a guidance system for the visually impaired by acquiring images from a mobile camera, sending it to LabVIEW where we process it and subsequently generate an audio output in which helps to navigate the subject.
