What challenge/problem are you trying to solve through your application:
In water supply & street lighting certain problems arises such as
Hence by using this system, the proper usage and control of street lighting is achieved. The street light control is also achieved even for months in this system & the water supply is also controlled using LABVIEW and ZigBee communication module.
How does your application solves the above mentioned challenge/problem:
Our project shows how street lighting and water supply is controlled by using LaBVIEW and ZigBee communication module .The programming is done in LaBVIEW to develop an eco-friendly system.
Description of Project:
The Real Time Clock (RTC) is used to control the street lights and water supply continuously throughout the year. By using RTC the entire system will be controlled by the way of setting ON and OFF time of both street lights and water supply unit.
ZigBee module is used to transmit data from system to the area which is controlled. If any fault occurs in lighting the street light the fault indicator in the LabVIEW glows. The Light Dependant Resistor (LDR) is used to sense the lighting of lights and if is not glow then it will set ON the fault indicator.
Similarly valves of the water supply unit are controlled by LabVIEW. Thus the power saving and water saving can be controlled by LabVIEW.
